Winners of Binibining / Bb. Pilipinas 1999
Bb. (Binibining) Pilipinas 1999 Beauty Pageant was held February 20 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines. The contest was hosted by Paolo Bediones and Bb. Pilipinas 1993 and 2nd run-up Miss World 1993, Sharmaine "Ruffa" Gutierrez.
Janelle Delfin Bautista, 22 years old from Quezon City was named as the Bb. (Binibining) Pilipinas - Universe 1999. She's the representative of her country at the Miss Universe 1999 Contest in Trinidad & Tobago.
24 year old, Miriam Redito Quiambao was declared as the Bb. (Binibining) Pilipinas - World 1999. She stands 5'8" tall and be competing at the Miss World 1999 Pageant. Miriam was also from Quezon City and dreams to become a Physical Therapist.
A popular actress and TV personality, Laline Bognot Edson won the title of Bb. (Binibining) Pilipinas - International 1999. She is 21 years old, stands 5'8" tall and from Marikina, City. Lalaine is representing the Philippines at the Miss International 1999.
1st runner-up was Michelle Arcangel, 24 years of age, stands 5'8" tall from Victoria, Oriental Mindoro. And the 2nd runner-up is the 22 year old, Joelle Marie Pelaez of Quezon City. She stands tall at 5'8".

*** Few days after the coronation, Bb. Pilipinas - Universe 1999, Janelle Bautista was asked to step down her throne. She was being dethroned by the BPCI (Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc.) due to problem in her citizenship.
Miriam Quiambao replaced Janelle's title. Then Lalaine Edson took over Miriam's title.
Georgina Anne Sandico was appointed to become the Bb. (Binibining) Pilipinas - International 1999. She is from Bicol province. Georgina is 19 years old and stands tall at 5'11".
