Bet of New Zealand at Miss International 2008

The representative of New Zealand at Miss International 2008 Beauty Pageant is Rhonda Grant, a 22-year old health promotion co-ordinator with the National Heart Foundation in Napier. She graduated from the Palmerston North campus in May with a Bachelor of Science in human nutrition.

Rhonda stands 1.78m. tall. She is a runner-up in last year's Miss Manawatu beauty contest and, in April, finished third in the Miss Universe New Zealand 2008 pageant.

"Miss International Beauty Pageant is rated as one of the top beauty pageants in the world along with Miss Universe and Miss World," she says.

"The contest runs over three weeks. We go to Japan first and then to Macau for the pageant. I'm really excited and honoured to be chosen and will do my best to represent New Zealand well and meet some fantastic people." Rhonda added.

Rhonda will competing against more than 60 contestants at Miss International 2008 Beauty Contest to be held in Macau and Japan
